MEDIA SELANGOR STRENGTHENS STRATEGIC SYNERGY WITH 37 STATE AGENCIES AND GLCs

SHAH ALAM, 21 MAY 2026 – Media Selangor Sdn. Bhd. (MSSB) has successfully hosted its very first Stakeholder Engagement Event (Majlis Jalinan Mesra Bersama Pemegang Taruh) on Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Shah Alam, Selangor.

The event, which took place from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, served as a dynamic platform to reinforce strategic relationships while expressing gratitude for the continuous support of stakeholders who form the backbone of the media organization’s growth.

The gathering brought together top management, heads of department, and representatives from 27 state government-linked companies (GLCs) and ten Local Authorities (PBT) across Selangor. Among the prominent figures in attendance were Wan Laila Fatihah Wan Omar Sukri, Head of Corporate Communications of MBI Selangor; Chua Yee Ling, Chief Executive Officer of Smartsel Sdn Bhd; YM Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Bin Raja Salim, Chief Executive Officer of Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad; and Azman bin Zainuddin, Chief Executive Officer of Heliosel Sdn Bhd. The event’s atmosphere was further enlivened by the presence of top management representatives from five local authorities, namely the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA), Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ), Royal Klang City Council (MBDK), Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL), and Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS).

The event commenced with the screening of MSSB’s corporate video, which highlighted the agency’s achievements and strategic direction. This was followed by key agenda sessions, including an insightful sharing session by MSSB Chief Editor, Noor Azam Shairi, and a presentation on MSSB’s Corporate Profile and Services delivered by MSSB Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Fareed Mohamed Ashaaree. These sessions aimed to provide a clear overview of the dynamic media services offered by MSSB on par with the national medialandscape, as well as potential future collaborations.

Guests were also treated to a hi-tea and networking session, creating a warm and relaxed environment for closer interaction between Media Selangor’s top management and its strategic partners.

Through this collaborative network, Media Selangor aims not only to bolster stakeholder trust in its brand credibility and service quality but is also fully prepared to serve as a long-term strategic partner capable of elevating publicity value and corporate branding for all subsidiaries and local authorities in Selangor.
