MEDIA SELANGOR DRIVES ESG AGENDA, PARTICIPATES IN MBDK'S PROGRAM 'CINTAI SUNGAI DI KLANG 2026'
KLANG, 20 JUNE 2026 – Demonstrating its continuous commitment to environmental sustainability, Media Selangor Sdn. Bhd. (MSSB) mobilized its workforces by participating in the “Program Cintai Sungai di Klang 2026” held at the Jeti Pengkalan Nelayan Sungai Kapar Besar, Klang, last Saturday.
The environmental conservation initiative, themed “Sungai Bersih, Alam Terpelihara, Masa Depan Sejahtera” (Clean Rivers, Protected Environment, Prosperous Future), was organized by the Royal Klang City Council (MBDK). The program aimed to raise environmental awareness and strengthen community engagement to ensure the sustainability of the Klang River.
A dedicated team of eight MSSB volunteers took part in the program, successfully contributing a collective total of 40 volunteer hours throughout the program, which ran from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
In addition to serving as an important platform to support the ESG agenda, this participation also fostered a strong spirit of togetherness among staff, while reinforcing the strategic synergy between Media Selangor and various entities including MBDK councilors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), educational institution representatives, residents’ associations, and the local community.
Media Selangor remains deeply committed to inspiring the public to safeguard national water resources and actively build a sustainable community.
