VISIT WHILE LEARNING THE RESIDENTS OF HARMONI LOVE HOME (RKH)

Media Selangor celebrated 6 Syawal with a visit from Bachelor’s Degree students in Creative Industry Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) together with 30 residents of Rumah Kasih Harmoni who are also high school students to participate in a program organized by UUM together with Media Selangor which is “One Step to the Creative Industry” for give early exposure to students about the world of journalism and broadcasting.

In the program, students also heard the sharing of experiences about the media industry by the Editor of the Selangor Media Group, Mr. Fathi Aris Omar and Selangor TV Consultant, Mr. Izwan Azir Saleh.

This initiative can foster students’ interest in venturing into the world of media thus helping students plan the direction of their field of study and career path to venture into the creative industry.

During the visit, the students were given the opportunity to read the news in the SelangorTV news studio, experience being a host in the main studio, operate the broadcasting equipment and they were also taken to see the news production process.

It is hoped that sharing through this program can inspire students.
