MEDIA SELANGOR EMPOWERS INFORMATION RESILIENCE AMIDST GLOBAL SUPPLY CRISIS

SHAH ALAM, 22 APRIL 2026 – Media Selangor Sdn Bhd (MSSB) reinforces its strategic commitment to navigating the 2026 global supply crisis, as the world enters a period of prolonged economic pressure across various industries.
The statement was announced today during the employee assembly by the Chief Executive Officer of Media Selangor, Mohamed Fareed Mohamed Ashaaree in his special address, where he underscored the vital role of Media Selangor as the state’s official media source. He further emphasized that Media Selangor personnels must be at the forefront, both in reporting and building organizational resilience, and therefore urged the workforces to remain vigilant regarding current affairs and to delve into scholarly content to better understand the complex dynamics of the global crisis.
In addition to strategic directives, he also called for continued support for the Sumud Flotilla Mission, a humanitarian flotilla initiative that is currently underway as a profound manifestation of steadfastness and solidarity that transcends national borders.
The assembly also featured the Editorial Impact Awards (HIE), a bimonthly initiative to recognize Media Selangor employees who published high-quality content that significantly impacted both the organization and the Selangor community. This recognition is hoped to fuel innovation and inspire the workforce to maintain excellence in future reporting.
